Maggie Carr
Programs Committee Co-Chair
Maggie Carr is a native Seattleite. She attended Franklin High School, the University of Washington and served as a Vista Volunteer. The Elliott Bay Book Company was part of her family business which she continues by doing library work. She has been active in her community and enjoys volunteering for the Washington Park Japanese Garden. She has two granddaughters. After Sandy Hook, Maggie vowed to change the culture of gun violence. GAGV has provided the avenue for her to pursue that vow. As a member of the Program Committee, her GAGV focus has been working on presenting educational programs to inform members of GVP issues.
